What Is an ABS Sheet Extrusion Machine?
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) sheet extrusion machine is a specialized production line designed to produce high-quality ABS plastic sheets. ABS Sheet Making Machine Main Components and Production Process
Dehumidification dryer：Before extrusion, ABS material must be properly dried to eliminate moisture content. The dehumidification dryer ensures the pellets are completely dry, preventing surface defects, bubbles, or yellowing during processing.
Extruder:
The high-efficiency single-screw extruder melts and homogenizes the ABS material. It ensures stable output and consistent melt quality.
Co-extruder for Multi layer ABS PMMA sheet production
Screen Changer and Melt Pump:
The screen changer filters impurities, and the melt pump provides stable pressure and flow, ensuring a uniform extrusion process.
T-Die (Sheet Die):
The T-die shapes the molten ABS into a flat sheet with precise thickness control. Our T-dies offer excellent flow distribution and thermal stability.
3-Roller Calender :
This unit cools and calenders the sheet using three precision rollers. It determines the sheet’s surface finish and final thickness. Options include gloss, matte, and textured surfaces.
Cooling Frame: Sheet fully cooling
Haul-Off Unit:
The haul-off system pulls the sheet through the line at a controlled speed, ensuring dimensional stability.
Cutter:
Equipped with an automatic cutting system, the machine cuts the sheet into desired lengths with high accuracy.
Stacker:
The stacker neatly collects and stacks the final ABS sheets for packaging and transport. (Autoamtic Stacker is available)
